Argentina hosts the third race of the MotoGP World Championship on Sunday. Today was the day of the press conference, during which he was up for a vote… the best football player in the world.
In front of the journalists, Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing) – championship leader – Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM), Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) – current world champion – and Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing) revealed their preference between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. And the winner was… the captain of the National Team.
The Manchester United ace collected three votes, while the Argentine did not go beyond one: Zarco was the one who preferred the PSG forward for his character. Opinion silenced by Miguel Oliveira’s determination: «It’s simple, Ronaldo is the best. There is no discussion».
Quartararo also justified his choice, going back to his childhood times. “It was a lot of fun to watch him play. His work and his dedication are a motivation for many athletes », underlined the French rider.
