THE BALL – Glazer brothers define astronomical value for the sale of Man. United (England)

Placed under strong pressure from supporters for the advance and retreat in the integration of the European Super League, Avram and Joel Glazer have already defined the galactic value for which they are willing to sell Manchester United. In 2005, the Americans acquired the Old Trafford emblem for € 906 million (£ 790 million at the current exchange rate).

According to Mirror, interested investors will have to put 4.6 billion euros on the table in order to aim for success in the business. “The Glazer family believes that Manchester United has a unique empire and commercial power that allows it to continue guaranteeing multi-million dollar sponsorship deals,” reads the English newspaper.

This week, Liverpool’s owners rejected a € 3 billion proposal for the purchase of reds.
