THE BALL – Bruno Lage praises Rúben Neves (Wolverhampton) again

In a press conference ahead of this Sunday’s game, at Everton’s home, coach Bruno Lage once again praised Rúben Neves.

“He is a very good player in my opinion. I didn’t know Reuben [Neves], it is the first time that I work with him and it has been a great pleasure. I know he gave an interview to the club’s channels and one of the things was when he said he can do ten good things but when he fails one, the coach will be there and that’s the pressure I want. He’s a player who wants to improve, he knows what I want from him and I believe he can put us on a different level. He’s an amazing person, a top player and he deserves the best. As for the game, the Portuguese coach expects difficulties: «Everton has a new coach [Frank Lampard], a different way of playing, sometimes with four defenders, sometimes with five. We will see. What I do know is that the coach has experience, he was an excellent player and Everton has players of great quality. I expect another game like all the others in the Premier League, a difficult game, but we need to go boldly and play our game.”
