After announcing the end of his career at the age of 29, Hinteregger may not have left the pitch for good. This Saturday, the player’s father revealed to the Crown newspaper that the former champion of Eintracht Frankfurt is evaluating a proposal from Sirnitz, the fifth tier of Austrian football.

«After 17 years we are happy to have him back at home», explained Franz Hinteregger, who also revealed that until now he will be used as a… striker.
