Taylor Swift’s Father Accused of Assaulting Australian Photographer: Shocking Details Revealed

The Australian photographer has reported the father of the American superstar.

Ben McDonald says he had photographed Taylor Swift on a superyacht in the Australian city on Tuesday night. He claims the star’s security guards held an umbrella in front of his face to prevent him from taking more photos as she left the boat and got into a waiting car.

After Swift left, the 51-year-old says a man confronted him and punched him in the face. According to McDonald, this man was Scott Swift, Taylor Swift’s 71-year-old father.

– I had no idea who it was, but I looked at the pictures and saw him holding Taylor’s hand, and that it was her father, says the photographer.

Confirms review

– I was shocked. I have never experienced anything like this in my 16 years as a photographer, says McDonald, who did not need medical attention after the incident.

Australian police confirm they have received a report against a 71-year-old man, who is alleged to have assaulted a 51-year-old man at 2.30am on Tuesday night.

Later, a spokesperson for the police stated that Scott Swift has left the country, but that the investigation continues.

– Aggressive

A spokesperson for Taylor Swift says people were acting aggressively before the alleged violent incident.

– Two people pushed aggressively towards Taylor, grabbed hold of the security staff and threatened to throw a female employee into the water, says the spokesperson to the AFP news agency.

McDonald believes the photographers acted politely.

Swift left Australia on a private plane on Tuesday after performing for a total of over 600,000 people at seven stadium concerts in the country.

She is currently on the world tour Eras Tour and travels this week to Singapore.
