jpnn.com, KERALA – Five people have been arrested for allegedly forcing college entrance examination students to take off their bras before entering the examination site.

Reported by Mirror.co.uk, Thursday (21/7), three of the perpetrators worked for an agency hired by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and two worked for the Mar Thoma Institute of Information Technology in Kerala, India, where the incident occurred.

A 17-year-old girl who was about to take her first National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) was traumatized by the perpetrators’ actions, her father claims.

NEET itself is a national selection for Indian citizens who want to enter medical school.

The father has reported to the police and said that his daughter was dressed according to the rules in the NEET bulletin which made absolutely no mention of underwear.’

The victim’s father told a local TV station that shortly after his daughter entered the exam area, he and his wife waiting in the car got a call asking them to come to the gate.

“When we got to the gate we saw our daughter crying. She said she and the other girls were asked to take off some of their underwear and asked for a scarf to wear during the test”, he continued.

The mother gave her shawl to her daughter and she went back inside. However, once the test was over, their daughter was still very depressed and she told them what had happened.
