CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tennessee (Drinking water) – John Michael Montgomery and two other individuals have been injured when the singer’s tour bus crashed in Tennessee, in the vicinity of the Kentucky condition line.
The 57-year-previous country musician was a passenger on a 2001 Prevost Featherlite bus touring south on I-75 just south of Jellico when it veered off the interstate, hit an embankment and capsized, according to a report from the Tennessee Freeway Patrol.
“Despite some cuts and broken ribs, I’m high-quality,” the singer claimed in a declaration. Montgomery said he was on his way to a concert in North Carolina at the time of the incident.
Montgomery, a native of Nicholasville, Kentucky, has unveiled 10 studio albums and has experienced far more than 30 singles on the countrywide Billboard charts, like “I Like the Way You Appreciate Me”, “Life’s a Dance” and “I Swear”.
He is the father of state singer Walker Montgomery and brother of Eddie Montgomery, with whom he carried out as portion of the band Montgomery Gentry.

Images and films from the scene present the bus on one aspect in the middle of the interstate and established up by a tug organization.
Two some others on the bus – Marc Wood and William Sayer – were also injured in the crash, according to the THP report.
The report also statements that Montgomery and Wood had been employing seat belts, but Sayer was not donning a person.
“I will just take some time more than the future two months to recover and get back on the street soon,” Montgomery said. “I am grateful to the health professionals and the freeway patrol for their prompt response to this difficult situation.”
There are no charges pending in the wreck.
