For the second year in a row, the Police are recruiting 200 civil servants-trainees from the B1 / C1 treatment groups of the police officer. The registration for special stages to become a police officer in treatment groups B1 or C1 are open from 20.10. to 03.11.2020. They are exclusively reserved for candidates who have passed the general aptitude test. (State examination) in the respective treatment groups.

How does the special stage organized by the Police take place?
All candidates who have successfully completed the general aptitude test (Staatsexamen) of the respective treatment groups (even in previous sessions) have the opportunity to apply.to register of special stages to become police officer trainees in treatment groups B1 or C1.
These include among others:
- a French test and a German test;
- a sporting event (video);
- psychological tests and other general aptitude tests.
The dates the tests will be communicated to the registered candidates in due course.
The candidate who has passed the special test is admitted to the course within the limit of the number of vacant posts and according to the classification made at the end of the tests and examinations after a medical examination and a moral inquiry.
Formation
The formation future police officers will begin in avril 2021. It will last two years, with a phase of theoretical and practical police training at the Police Academy and a phase ofpractical initiation to police units.
At the Police Academy, trainee civil servants learn, among other things, police and security techniques or the legal framework of police functions and missions. They take courses on administrative and judicial police and road traffic. The program also includes physical and sports education and courses on the use of weapons.
