The company has announced a lot of new events, changes to the game, Pokémon that will debut for the first time and even new features and the beginning of a new themed Season. September 2021 Research Achievement Meeting
The new research achievement meeting for completing the seven weekly stamps of the field investigations during the month of September 2021 be the following:
- El Pokmon Ditto: Available to claim from Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10:00 PM CEST through Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:00 PM PDT.
As an interesting fact, it should be noted that we will be able to meet you for the first time with a Ditto variocolor outside of his special investigation. From this date on, we can also find this Pokémon in its shiny version in the wild.
Featured Pokémon in Raids
- Lugia appear: from Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (local time).
- Depending on your region: Uxie (Asia-Pacific), Mesprit (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India) or Azelf (America and Greenland) will appear in the raids from Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:00, until Friday, September 1 October 2021 at 10:00 (local time). Mega Raid Pokémon
Regarding the Mega-evolved Pokmon present in the Mega Raids, these are the ones that will appear in them:
- Mega-Slowbro: from Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (local time).
- Mega-Houndoom: from Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (local time).
Raid time event
All the wednesday in september will have a Raid Time event from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., local time. The following Pokémon will be present at Raid Hours:
- Wednesday, September 1, 2021: Lugia.
- Wednesday, September 8, 2021: Lugia.
- Wednesday, September 15, 2021: Uxie (Asia-Pacific), Mesprit (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India) or Azelf (America and Greenland).
- Wednesday, September 22, 2021: Uxie (Asia-Pacific), Mesprit (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India) or Azelf (America and Greenland).
- Wednesday, September 29, 2021: Uxie (Asia-Pacific), Mesprit (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India) or Azelf (America and Greenland).
Featured Pokémon Hours
In the month of September 2021, the Featured Pokémon time will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, as is usual. Every hour highlight a different Pokémon along with a special bonus:
- Tuesday, September 7, 2021: Spoink be the featured spot and you’ll earn double Stardust for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, September 14, 2021: Baltoy will be the featured one and you will earn double XP for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, September 21, 2021: Skitty be the featured one and you will earn double Candy for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, September 28, 2021: Alolan Meowth will be featured and you will earn double Candy for transferring Pokémon.
Community Day of September 2021

Upcoming Featured Events
In addition to all this, Niantic has also advanced the date and summary characteristics of some events specials that we will see in September 2021, they are the following:
- Mischief Season: for the first time in the game it will be possible to catch Hoopa, the Mischief Pokémon. - Fashion Week: some smartly dressed Pokémon will be strolling for the first time in Pokémon GO, alongside a fluffy and elegant companion. It will be held from Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. (local time).
- It seems that the head of Team GO Rocket has been lost …: where has Giovanni gone? Hopefully he’s not up to anything weird. Stay tuned for the news that we will be publishing throughout the season. During this period, Rocket superradars will not be able to track Giovanni, so they will not need to be equipped.
New evolution preview function
Prximamente Niantic aadir a Pokmon GO una new evolution preview function, that is, we will soon be able to preview the PCs that our Pokémon will have after evolving. This new evolution preview screen will show the following information:
- The current Pokémon and its PCs.
- The evolution of the Pokémon and its new PCs.
- The leagues in which the evolved Pokémon can participate.
From Niantic they hope that this function help you better decide which Pokémon to give more power and evolve of our inventory. Something that the gaming community is sure to appreciate.
