Delegates of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) before the Central Electoral Board (JCE) denounced that minority sectors intend to buy ID cards using their party’s badges.
José Ramón Fadul, delegate of the ruling party, was energetic in exclaiming that the parties “plan” to damage the image of the party and violate the process.
“If we were getting ahead, when the entire Electoral process and crime occurs it is going to harm the board and we as a party that we know will win the majority of the mayorships. We have won the trust of the Dominican people and we do not agree with that practice, “said the Minister of Interior and Police.
“We point and say which parties are a practice that we are not going to incur. But those parties know what they are and there is the complaint so that the people know and now it is up to the Central Electoral Board (JCE) to investigate “added the PLD delegate, Robert De La Cruz.
The JCE has said on several occasions that the purchase and sale of ID cards is an Electoral offense that will be prosecuted very closely during this electoral process.
The municipal elections will be held next Sunday from 7 in the morning.
