Pilot to Cyclist, NASA Recruits 10 New Astronauts

Body space United States of America (NASA) officially recruited 10 new astronauts following its th exploratory mission Mars which the agency is still preparing.

The 10 astronauts were chosen by NASA from a total of more than 12,000 people who registered for the job.

The ten astronauts consisted of four women and six men. All of them are around 30-40 years old.

These astronauts consist of military pilots, medical physicists, drilling specialists, maritime robotics, doctors, surgeons, NASA aviation experts, and cyclists.

Air Force Major Marcos Berios of Puerto Rico, became one of the candidates selected for NASA’s 10 new astronauts.

NASA last recruited new astronauts in 2017. So far, the space agency has had 360 astronauts.

“With SpaceX sending astronauts to the International Space Station and other private companies launching tourists on short trips, to the moon landing program, we are in a golden age now from human flight to space,” said NASA chief astronaut Reid Wiseman.

Quoted ABC AustraliaThis recruitment also takes place as NASA plans to send its astronauts back to the moon at least 2025.
