PHOTO REPORT: the cult series “UgunsGreks” celebrates its return to Birini Palace

We remember that during the heyday of “UgunsGreka” tourists “overthrew” the hotels that were shown in the series to visit Peterson’s rooms, Mildiņa’s kitchen and the like, and they were very surprised to learn that only glimpses and passions by the pond were filmed on the territory of the castle for the series , in which not only one hero of the series drowned and was saved, but everything else was filmed in a specially built pavilion in Riga.

Well, it has come true – the series is really being filmed in a real palace – Bīriņi – in the corridors, hotel rooms, kitchen and other rooms, which the fans of the series will be able to see with their own eyes afterwards.

The events of the series will take place in the same hotel after seven years, during which the shadow of betrayal and scandals arose. The owner of the hotel gathers former employees and regular guests for a mysterious meeting in order to make an important announcement that will ignite the flame of passions characteristic only of the “FireSin” series.

“UgunsGreks is a cultural phenomenon created by Inta Gorodetka and her actors, which has remained unbeaten since the filming was stopped. Still, when we see our favorite actors, we hear cries of delight from both young and old,” comments producer Uldis Cipsts.

On the other hand, the director Inta Gorodecka admits that the audience’s interest has remained several years after the filming was stopped: “Still receiving countless fan letters on social networks, we realized that “UgunsGrēks” deserves a good continuation. We really want to please our viewers with the people’s beloved actors.”

In this season, almost all the actors of the main characters of the previous season have confirmed their participation – Ilze Vazdika, Regīna Devīte, Įrts ķesteris, Zane Vadņiņa, Egils Melbārdis, who will also be joined by Anete Berķe, Everita Pjata-Gertner, Oskars Florencs-Vīksne, Rihards Zeļeznevs, Kārlis Tols and others. .
