NYC Restores Staten Island Ferry Night Service

Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York, dedicated his opening message to urge New Yorkers to go to the polls on this primary election day.

He announced that this summer the night service of the ferry From Staten Island: Starting August 16, shuttle service will be every 30 minutes.

During his participation, Staten Island County President James Oddo reiterated that the service is necessary for economic recovery as it provides a necessary service for the working class.

The Mayor reiterated his commitment to combat the illegal traffic of fireworks in the city.

In this regard, the sheriff of NYC, Joe Fucito, made a recount of the progress of his special brigade for this task.

  • COVID-19 reported cases, 7-day average: 175
  • Percentage of patients who tested positive, 7-day average: 0.53%
