W. was one of the eight supporters of the alleged terrorist cell “Gruppe S.” was arrested on February 14 after nationwide raids. In 2016, an official with an imperial background had been removed from duty in the PP Hamm. Police President Sievert does not know why Thorsten W. was unnoticed for 25 years: “We have to become more sensitive to extremist indications. But I can promise you one thing: doubts about constitutional loyalty will be pursued consistently.”
