The New York Transit Museum reopens after more than a year of closure due to the pandemic – Telemundo New York (47)

NEW YORK – For New York City museum lovers, this weekend, after more than a year of being closed due to the pandemic, the well-known New York Transit Museum, in downtown Brooklyn, for those who want to learn the wonders behind the history of the subway and step back in time exploring train cars from different eras.

“After what could only be described as the most challenging 16 months in museum history, I am pleased to share that the New York Transit Museum will reopen our main location in mid-August. We look forward to seeing visitors experience our trains and wonderful exhibits in person, “said New York City Transit Museum Director Concetta Bencivenga.

The museum’s initial reopening hours will be from Friday to Sunday, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and those interested must purchase tickets in advance and wear masks to enter.
