Worms: bed linen convicts burglars

A duvet cover blew up a burglar in Worms. As the police announced early Tuesday morning, the 40-year-old broke into an apartment at night. When the resident noticed this, she called her partner. The latter immediately made his way to the house – but met a man who was transporting several objects in a duvet cover. Because the laundry looked familiar, he spoke to the burglar. Bochum: Supermarket customer is attacked with beef steak because he did not keep the distance

At the fresh food counter of a Bochum supermarket, a customer took the distance rules very carefully. Because another customer had come too close to his terms, he turned and threatened: “Get out of here, or I’ll punch you in the face.” The 53-year-old resigned, according to the police, but that was apparently not enough for his car. He slapped the man in the face with a piece of Argentinean beef fillet weighing just under two kilograms, which he had just been given by the supermarket employee.

The victim got to safety and informed the police. The 48-year-old attacker conceded the act, but reacted with incomprehension – after all, he was injured in his “personal sphere”. The police wrote a complaint of assault against the man. The 53-year-old victim sustained minor injuries and later went for medical treatment.
