MTA trains personnel to provide customer service outside of the booths.

The MTA trains 2,300 of its agents to get out of the booths located in subway stations and help passengers inside the stations and on the platforms.

Demetrius Crichlow, NYC Transit supervisor, explained that each officer will undergo a four-day training period before taking over management of the station.

No date has been set for the station agents to officially vacate the booths.
