Well-known TV journalists Miroslava Ivanova and Marina Tsekova return to NOVA in June. They will host two of the most popular current programs among active-age TV viewers – “Hello, Bulgaria” and “Wake up”, the television reported.

Miroslava Ivanova and Viktor Nikolaev are the new screen couple of “Hello, Bulgaria” from June 21. With their distinctive journalistic handwriting, the two presenters will present the important topics in depth – with accurate analyzes and questions. NOVA’s morning block retains its characteristic style of being in constant dialogue with the viewer and following current events live with live broadcasts and reporter stories.

Marina Tsekova is the new host of the show “Wake up” from June 12. It will wake viewers every Saturday and Sunday, offering an attractive three-hour format with analysis of the events of the week, exciting stories and guests.

The professional biography of the two presenters is closely related to NOVA. Miroslava Ivanova has been the face of the media for almost 20 years. It started as part of the team of “Hello, Bulgaria” in its first format with host Milen Tsvetkov. Later, together with Hristo Kaloferov, he became its presenter. She has also worked in the media for the iconic shows “Studio Nova” and “On Four Eyes”. Viewers know her well as the host of the Saturday-Sunday morning block “Wake up”, which she started in the fall of 2012 and has been leading for more than 7 years.

As a prominent journalist, Miroslava Ivanova has stood behind a number of socially significant causes. She has been a longtime ambassador for the BCause Foundation’s Ready for Success program and the Orphan Foundation. He is a holder of an award for high language culture and preservation of the purity of the Bulgarian language from the Faculty of Slavic Philology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”. In 2019 she was named Woman of the Year in the category “Television” in the competition of GRAZIA magazine. He has been awarded a special prize by the Bulgarian Europe Media Festival, as well as by the Worlds and Colors Association of Spanish-speaking Journalists in Bulgaria.
