According to Ukrainian intelligence, the command of the Russian armed forces continues to increase the combat readiness of the operational group of the occupation forces in ORDLO.
Militants in Donbass are preparing medical institutions to work in an enhanced mode. About this on March 12 informs Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to available data, stocks of medical property are imported from the Russian Federation to the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, additional treatment rooms are being equipped, and patients who are easily ill are discharged from medical institutions ahead of schedule.
According to intelligence information, the command of the Russian armed forces also continues to increase the combat readiness of the operational group of the occupation forces in ORDLO.
In particular, this week the militants conducted command-staff training with the highest levels of combat readiness of the formations and units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps. During the training, the invaders worked out the interaction between the military command and control bodies of the army corps and the combined tactical formations of other power structures of the Russian occupation administrations.
In 2014, immediately after the annexation of Crimea, Russia launched an armed aggression in eastern Ukraine. The fighting is between the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the one hand and the Russian army and Russian-backed militants who control parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions on the other. Officially, the Russian Federation does not recognize its invasion of Ukraine, despite the facts and evidence presented by Ukraine.
July 22, 2020 Trilateral Contact Group agreed on a full and comprehensive ceasefire in Donbass since midnight on July 27. Ukrainian side regularly reports violations by the militants of the ceasefire regime.
At the beginning of 2021, the situation in Donbass worsened. The Joint Forces operation headquarters has repeatedly reported that the enemy is firing sniper fire. On February 4, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said that in Donbas “there is no peace process anymore”… “There are sniper pairs, mortars, shelling. The war is underway,” he said.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on February 11, during a visit to Donetsk region, said that the escalation of the situation in Donbass associated with Russia’s attempts to put pressure on Ukraine at the talks in the trilateral contact group on the settlement of the conflict.
On March 3, the occupation authorities of the “DPR” allowed the so-called “people’s militia” open “preemptive” fire by position Ukrainian military… Leonid Kravchuk, head of the Ukrainian delegation of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on the settlement of the conflict in Donbass regarded this statement as a threat to the unilateral withdrawal of the Russian side from the ceasefire regime and a threat to the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
During the 150th TCG meeting on March 2, the Ukrainian delegation stated that Russia should take full political responsibility for the implementation of the decisions of the Normandy and Minsk formats. It – the main condition for the implementation of agreements on Donbass, said in the message of the press service of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG.
According to Kravchuk, Russia is not interested in the return of the occupied territories to Ukraine in the near future and will not change its position on the conflict in Donbass. It is “almost impossible” to come to an agreement with the Russian Federation, said the first president of independent Ukraine.
On March 8, the Eastern Human Rights Group reported that the occupation administrations in ORDLO preparing for hostilities.
