2-Year-Old Boy Thrown to Ground by Grandmother for Breaking Glass

A child abuse case was reported in Zhaoyang District, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, China. A 2-year-old boy was severely injured by his biological grandmother because he broke a glass. He is still in the intensive care unit and is in critical condition. As for the grandmother involved, the police have taken criminal coercive measures.

The incident happened on May 6. The boy’s mother left home last year and sent her daughter and son to the grandmother’s house to take care of her. The sister witnessed the incident.
