Real IS has appointed Michael Wecke as the new Director (Managing Director) Real IS Australia Pty Limited on February 1, 2021. He is replacing Maximilian Kube. Since April 1, 2021, he has complemented the investment management team for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Michael Wecke can look back on more than 20 years of experience as managing director and civil engineer both in Germany and Australia at various international companies and companies. He holds an engineering degree and an MBA in International Real Estate Management. His expertise focuses in particular on the areas of asset and property management, project development, project management, leasing and the purchase and sale of real estate. Most recently he worked independently in project development and property management.
Maximilian Kube started his professional career at Real IS AG in 2014, initially as a fund manager for institutional investors. Over the years, he has worked in various departments and positions within the company, most recently as Director Fund Management for Luxembourg and German fund vehicles with assets of more than one billion euros under management before moving to Australia in 2019. There he worked as Director Real IS Australia PTY Limited. In this role he was primarily responsible for the areas of investment management and strategy. Maximilian Kube holds a Bachelor in Business Administration as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate with a focus on real estate investment and finance as well as project development from the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) in Regensburg.
