As a leading actress in Liepāja theater, where the directors have been choosing Inesa Kučinska-Laukshteini for the main female roles in their productions for years, the actress rarely has the opportunity to visit cultural events in other cities due to her schedule.
That’s why the husband of the stage diva, director of the Liepāja theater Herberts Laukshtein, who celebrated the 30th anniversary of his wedding with Ines last year, mostly attends premieres and concerts in the capital’s theaters alone. As the magazine “Kas Jauns” reports, the rare exception was the premiere of Georgian director Dat Tavadze’s new production “Caucasian Chalk Circle” at Dailes Theater – Liepāja theater director Laukshtein finally came to this event accompanied by his married girlfriend.
The lady was stunning in an elegant black above-the-knee cocktail dress with lace sleeves. Inese did not leave the black beret in the wardrobe together with the outerwear, but also on her head during the visit to the show.
Before the performance, the Laukšteinu couple sat in the theater cafe, where Herbert had a drink and Inese fell in love with a cake. In the meantime, they each chose a glass of red wine, which they enjoyed not at the cafe table, but sitting on the edge of the wardrobe. Unlike many other well-known couples who willingly posed smiling for photographers as guests of the premiere, Liepaja theater diva Inese Kučinska-Laukšteine, although she looked wonderful, categorically refused to be photographed with her husband.
