Kacey Musgraves Calls Out Wardrobe Blunder After SNL Performance

Kacey Musgraves, the Grammy-winning singer, is speaking up about a minor wardrobe mishap she encountered following her appearance on “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend, according to reports.

Musgraves’ Standout Performances and the Mishap

The talented artist, who is set to release her highly anticipated sixth studio album, “Deeper Well,” next week, delivered two remarkable performances during the sketch comedy show. She mesmerized the audience with captivating renditions of the album’s title track and her latest single, “Too Good to be True,” leaving a lasting impression.

However, when she returned to the 8H stage to bid farewell alongside the show’s host Sydney Sweeney, Musgraves seemed to have forgotten to remove a hair clip that was holding back her brunette locks. Taking to social media, she acknowledged the mistake and admitted, “The clip. I forgot to remove the clip,” alongside a fan’s photo of her and Sweeney exchanging goodbyes.

Musgraves to Grace “The Tonight Show” and “Today” Show

The energetic songstress is gearing up for a series of upcoming appearances to promote her album’s release. On March 14, Musgraves is scheduled to feature on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” just one day before her album officially hits the shelves. She will also be gracing the “Today” show the following day.

‘Deeper Well’: A Reflection of the Human Experience

Musgraves took a different approach in creating “Deeper Well” when compared to her previous work. Instead of drawing inspiration from her 2021 divorce, she focused on reconnecting to her Americana, country, and folk roots. In a press release, she stated that this album was a personal journey of therapy, self-discovery, and embracing the human experience.

She shared, “‘Deeper Well,’ to me, cuts to the core of the human experience for those who want to experience a deep relationship with themselves as well as with others. It has become clear to me that knowing and having a deep connection with oneself is vital, as it sets the foundation for genuine connections with others.”

A Milestone for Musgraves

With 14 captivating tracks, “Deeper Well” serves as a follow-up to the critically acclaimed album “Star-Crossed.” The past year has been a remarkable journey for Musgraves, marked by reaching the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with the Grammy-winning track “I Remember Everything,” a powerful duet with Zach Bryan.
