Joaquim Ramis, automotive marketing lead en Shackleton

Shackleton has hired Joaquim Ramis to lead a specialized marketing area in the automotive sector. Joaquim Ramis, who will report to Pablo Alzugaray, has worked with brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Škoda and SEAT, among others.

The incorporation of Ramis to Shackleton coincides with the launch of the Automotive Innovation Lab, an initiative promoted by Shackleton, within Accenture Interactive, which will be a meeting point for the best talents, from within and outside of Accenture, and companies more innovative specialized

The AIL will have experts in different disciplines and divisions from Accenture, teams from Shackleton itself and also from other network agencies, such as Droga5, Kolle Rebbe, Karmarama, among others, with the aim of integrating manufacturer brands, driver associations , business schools, and other professionals in the sector.

In this way, effective synergies are generated between the areas of strategy, creativity and technology to provide efficient precision marketing solutions. Accenture’s capabilities in data models, Applied Intelligence, Marketing Automation, and dynamic creativity will be integrated into the proposal, all geared towards brand building, digital transformation, and business growth. Joaquim Ramis will be responsible for coordinating and managing these capabilities from a holistic perspective, working with different clients in the automotive sector.

Last October Joaquim Ramis left Proximity after 22 years, an agency where he joined in 1998 as CEO and was President & CEO since 2005. During these years at Proximity, he had an outstanding presence in the leadership and management of High value projects for some of the most relevant brands in the automotive sector.

“After my exit from Proximity I wanted to steer my career where I think marketing services will go in the future. Accenture has capabilities in the strategic and technology area, which I am convinced will make it one of the main players in this area. Although the determining factor in the decision was the possibility of working with Pablo and Shackleton again, with whom I already agreed on the launch of CP in Barcelona and with whom we share values ​​and business vision ”, Joaquim Ramis pointed out.

“I have known Joaquim since 1998, when we opened Proximity Barcelona (then CP Comunicación). The result of that and his work speak for themselves and, more than twenty years later, I propose to undertake this project again, absolutely convinced that he is the perfect person for such an ambitious plan ”, concludes Pablo Alzugaray.
