On the Kagarlyk-Suschany highway in the Obukhovsky district of the Kiev region on Friday, September 10, a drunk driver of a BMW car lost control, which caused the car to drive into a tree. A woman passenger died in an accident reported press service of the regional police on Facebook.
The accident happened near the village of Mirovka in the afternoon. In addition to the 28-year-old deceased, two more passengers of the car received moderate bodily injuries, they were hospitalized. In this case, the driver himself was not injured.
During communication with the offender, the police noticed signs of alcohol intoxication. The Drager device recorded 1.86 ppm of alcohol in the blood.
The issue of opening criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of traffic rules is being resolved (part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Earlier in the Chernivtsi region, a passenger car driver allowed a run over a horse, after which he the car flew into a ditch… The victim of the accident was a 21-year-old passenger, while the 19-year-old driver is in intensive care.
