After the first death from Covid-19, as well as the increase in the number of people who tested positive for this virus, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced that a DN-III Plan is already planned so that, if required, the Armed Forces help to address the pandemic.
At a conference, the president explained that although there are beds and spaces in hospitals and health centers for the care of people infected with the new coronavirus, if necessary, the military facilities of the Ministry of National Defense and the Secretariat of the Navy-Navy of Mexico.

“If required, a DN-III plan is already being prepared for this purpose. We are going to count as they always have with the support of the Army and the Navy, with all their medical personnel, with their facilities, ”he stated.
López Obrador clarified that the State has the necessary resources for the attention of the Covid-19, from medications, hospital care and the budget, for which, he reiterated, the federal government is prepared to face this crisis in which there are already 118 confirmed cases. of infected people.
He stressed that the actions of his administration have been carried out in accordance with the plan prepared for three months, the necessary budget has been exerted and, for the moment, there have been no unforeseen events.
“We have always considered that the most important thing is people’s lives, caring for people, we have that condition, we are humanists,” said the president.
