The patient “ who removed his protective mask to lick his fingers and spread his saliva – and the germs it contained – on a bar of the Brussels metro provided a worthy explanation after being evacuated from the metro train by security agents from Stib. He was picked up by federal police at the West station in Molenbeek on Monday at around 6:30 p.m.
Here is what he explained during his arrest
: “I got coronavirus in Cambodia and I think I infected my parents who are elderly. That’s why I drink. “
“The person was directly arrested by our services and the police, the subway train was directly removed from service and it was cleaned,” recalls the Stib side by the voice of its carrier speech, Cindy Arents.
► After verification, it quickly became clear that the person concerned was only ” in a drunken state “
