This argument concerning the neighborhood is however the engine of this move, promised by the CAQ which had not however proposed Beauport as a new location. “Anything that brings crowds is viewed favorably by restaurants,” says François Gervais, owner of the Scores rotisserie. The new neighbor expected in November 2021 will have little effect on retail businesses, according to the rotisserie owner, but restaurateurs can hope for gains.
