A source inside Tunisian Sfaxien revealed that the financial demands of Angolan wing Geraldo Al-Ahly are hindering him from joining the egg and the kohl on loan, but the Tunisian club will try again.
The source said to FilGoal.com: “Geraldo gets $ 450,000 a season from Al-Ahly, and he aspires to get half of that amount on loan from our club.”
He stressed, “225 thousand dollars, a very large amount for us.”
“Geraldo refuses to reduce the required amount, so we will try one last time with him,” he added.
“After that attempt, we will determine whether he will join us, or we will separate from the deal,” he stressed.
Geraldo joined Al-Ahly Club during the January transfer window, coming from Primero de Augusto..
The 28-year-old crowned Al-Ahly with the Egyptian League title and the Egyptian Super Cup, scored three goals, and made 6 others.
