Prince Henry of England and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, thanked Prince Philip of Edinburgh on Friday for “his service” on the website of their foundation, Archewell.
In a brief message, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stressed that Prince Philip, Henry’s grandfather, will be greatly missed.
“In fond remembrance of His Majesty the Duke of Edinburgh 1921-2021. Thank you for your service … You will be greatly missed,” the text says.
The Duke of Edinburgh died on Friday at the age of 99, the British Royal House announced in a statement.
