During the annual general meeting, it was decided to make an alternative offer tailored to Corona: “In order to give clubs, organizations and private individuals the opportunity to sell handicrafts, Christmas items or warmth, we would like to start from the 50th calendar week, so From around December 7th, a sales booth will be available on the marketplace free of charge, ”the chairman explains the idea. The exact start date is not yet available, but the hut can be ordered every day until Christmas.
The modalities: “No food or beverages may be offered for direct consumption. The corona rules must of course be observed, ”appeals Rottwinkel. That means: no more than two people are allowed into the hut and only with mouth and nose protection. In front of the hut there must not be more than five customers – with a distance and mask. The operators are responsible for compliance with the rules.
When asked why two or three huts were not set up on the large market square, Rottwinkel warns that it is too sensitive for her because of Corona.

In order to create a pre-Christmas atmosphere in the city and the villages of Drolshagen Marketing, Drolshagen Marketing makes another offer to all clubs and organizations. Rottwinkel: “Christmas trees are provided for free collection, which should then be decorated in the city area. For example, such trees with a maximum height of 1.80 meters can be tied to street lamps. However, they must not hinder traffic. They should also be checked regularly. ”In this way, a little Christmas atmosphere can be created in Drolshagen despite Corona.
