For his achievements in the field of medicine, this year he was awarded the President’s badge of honor.

He created and developed the only platform in Bulgaria created by doctors for doctors – Medical News. Dr. Nakov was among the few physicians with interests in Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

His name became better known at the end of 2019, when he himself shared on social networks that he appeared in a competition for an assistant in the Department of Gastroenterology at MU-Sofia, but expressed his doubts that he did not win it because he was ill.

In a personal post on his Facebook account, he told the whole story in detail, stating that he had been advised several times by the members of the examination commission “to take care of their health”.

The exam was held on October 31.
