Villahermosa, Cancún, Culiacán and Tijuana, are the cities that already present a decrease in epidemiological curve, reported the undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo López-Gatell, who added that Mexico City could be added shortly.
We have five cities, four are already going down and Mexico City will be added soon. We have others up and others that do not have transmission at this time, “he explained.
In contrast, he indicated that there are areas in the country where the epidemic curve is rising and therefore the peak of cases has not yet been reached, a situation for which he said that although the National Day of Healthy Distance will end on May 30, there will be entities where it will be necessary to continue with the quarantine to avoid a greater number of infections.
Among the cities where the epidemic curve is rising include: Puebla, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Cuernavaca, Acapulco, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
