Despite the cancellation of its Cannes edition last May, the Critics’ Week continues its work of discovery and support of the first and second films, of those who invent the cinema of tomorrow.
As announced last June, Charles Tesson and his selection committees have therefore imagined a tightened edition around a label and a support program outside the walls which will allow the films to be introduced throughout the fall of 2020. to audiences, in France and abroad, at physical events or online.
This program will begin with a carte blanche at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival, from August 28 to September 2. At the invitation of Dominique Besnehard and Marie-France Brière, Charles Tesson will present the four French-speaking feature films of the 2020 selection, in the presence of the film teams.
