Covid-19 in Colombia: deaths and cases today December 26 – Other Cities – Colombia

According to the report of the Ministry of Health this Sunday, December 26, in Colombia 3,022 new cases of covid-19 were reported in the last hours. This, after 57,919 tests were processed (33,029 of PCR and 24,890 of antigens).

In the country, to date, 29,313,779 tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia has reached 5,124,690 confirmed coronavirus cases since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report shows 32 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total death toll in Colombia rises to 129,761.

In the last 24 hours, in addition, 1,794 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 4,959,128 patients who have overcome covid-19 in the country to date.

In total, 17,374 cases remain active in Colombia.

Regarding the advance of National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cut-off at 11:59 pm this Friday, December 24, in the country 63,706,515 doses of the vaccine against covid-19 have been applied. Of that figure, 32,870,001 correspond to the first dose; 22’592,104 to second dose; 2,985,834, booster doses, and 5,258,576 are from the single-dose vaccine.

In Colombia, 27,850,680 people already have the complete vaccination scheme.
