An older, 91-year-old man from Wejherowo, suffering from comorbidities, died in Gdańsk, and the sanitary services informed on Sunday, August 23, 2020 about 86 new cases of coronavirus infection in Pomerania. The tests gave a positive result this time for as many as 28 people from the capital of the voivodeship and 16 people from the area of Kartuski and Wejherowo, and the total number of cases in the region has significantly exceeded 2,000. In the Pomeranian Voivodeship, 44 people have already died from the virus, 800 have recovered from COVID-19. There were over 60,000 positive results of the SARS_CoV_2 tests nationwide.

– 86 new cases of coronavirus in Pomorskie were confirmed in 28 people from Gdańsk: 2 women and 3 elderly men, 9 women and 6 middle-aged men, 4 women and 2 young men and 2 girls; 16 people from the area kartuskiego 3 women and 5 elderly men, 1 women and 4 middle-aged men and 3 boys

The Pomeranian State Provincial Sanitary Inspector informs about the situation in the outbreaks of Sars-CoV-2 virus infection in the Pomeranian Voivodeship:
