Corona vaccinations without an appointment with AstraZeneca in Plön | NDR.de – News – Schleswig-Holstein

This is announced by the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Health. On these two days, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., people aged 18 and over can be vaccinated against the corona virus without registering at Ascheberger Straße 67 in Plön. The vaccine is available from AstraZeneca. Before the vaccination there is an informative talk. Bring an identification document and – if possible – a vaccination card as well printed and completed documents for vaccination with a vector vaccine. The second vaccination takes place five weeks later.

Stiko: Astra Zeneca for people over 60 years of age

The actual availability and possible waiting times on site depend, according to the Ministry of Health, on how many people willing to vaccinate take part in the special campaign. The Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko) recommends the vaccine primarily for people who are over 60. For younger people, it is decided together with the doctor whether vaccination with AstraZeneca is recommended or not.

Open vaccination offers in other vaccination centers continued

Open vaccination offers with AstraZeneca are already available in the vaccination centers in Husum, Neumünster and Lübeck. These will be continued and supplement the registration for vaccination appointments in the 28 Schleswig-Holstein vaccination centers. In the meantime, people who do not belong to one of the prioritization groups can also sign up under www.impfen-sh.de register for a vaccination. By Tuesday, 10 a.m., 78,000 Schleswig-Holsteiners have registered here. The current registration phase lasts until Thursday, June 17th, 1 p.m.

Good opportunities in Lensahn, Bad Schwartau and Plön, among others

The first vaccinations from this registration phase will be given – if appointments are available – from Saturday, June 19. According to the Ministry of Health, the chances of getting an appointment quickly are particularly high in the vaccination centers in Lensahn and Bad Schwartau (Ostholstein district), Brunsbüttel (Dithmarschen district), in Plön and Wahlstedt (Segeberg district).
