Rudiger, however, may have taken a step too far at a time the VAR lost in Munich.

Battling Pogba on a throw-in, the German battled his opponent, who helped create the French Open with an exquisite game-changer.

As he waited for the ball to hit the field, Rudiger put his head close to his Premier League rival before appearing to bite into Pogba’s back, eliciting a cry of pain.

The French ace protested to the linesman about the matter, but play resumed shortly after, and Rudiger was unable to even speak.
