It was mid-March and at the door of the provisional installations of the School of Music at the National Conservatory, in Lisbon, the students arrived in a rush. It was the day of final exams for the period, anticipated by an outcome that would be announced in a few hours: schools would close indefinitely and the country was preparing to enter a state of emergency, due to the covid-19 pandemic. It was the first time that the PUBLIC visited the school, for this report.
