Bulgaria ranks second in the world in mortality from Covid-19 in the number of deaths relative to the population. This is shown by the statistics of Worldometer, reports BNT. Only Peru is ahead of our country. With a population of 6,871,522 people in our country, the mortality rate per million population is 4,410. In Peru, with a population of 33,646,454 people, the mortality rate per million is 6,014.
The total number of people who died from Covid-19 in Bulgaria is 30,359.
Our country lost the most people who died in a day on November 8 this year. – 334 people. This is more than the peak of the first wave on November 30, 2020, when 221 people died, and the second, when on April 19 this year. Bulgaria has lost 217 of its citizens with Covid.

In the Netherlands – 72% are fully vaccinated, in Belgium – 77%, in the Czech Republic – 64%, in Portugal – 88%, in Slovakia – 50%, in Hungary – 64%, Croatia – 55%, Slovenia – 60%, Ireland – 79%, Lithuania – 68%, Latvia – 68%, Finland – 78%, Estonia – 63%, etc. Burundi, Congo and Haiti are the last in the world in terms of the number of vaccinations.
