Tourists visiting Britain will not be quarantined

The list is updated every three weeks, and in the future, states with a difficult epidemiological situation due to coronavirus may replenish it.

The UK authorities have decided to lift the mandatory quarantine for residents of the other seven countries that were on the red list for coronavirus. About this on Thursday, October 28, reported Transport Minister Grant Shapps on Twitter.

“All seven countries that were still on the red list will be excluded from it on November 1 from 04:00 (01:00 Kiev time),” the minister wrote.

Note that until Monday, Venezuela, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, Peru and Ecuador remain on the list. Residents of these countries, arriving in the country before November 1, must comply with a mandatory ten-day quarantine in hotels at their own expense.

At the same time, Shapps clarifies that the red list, which is updated every three weeks, may again replenish states in the future, where COVID-19 will be particularly widespread.

Earlier it became known that the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention included Ukraine in the list of countries with the highest level of danger due to the situation with COVID. In total, the list contains 77 states.

Despite this, journalist Rikard Jozvyak argues, The European Union is leaving Ukraine for now in the list of third countries for whose citizens the EU states are recommended to lift restrictions on entry.
