The Rapperswil Friday market is always something special. But today it’s going a step further: As the reader’s photo, which reached the editors this morning, shows, none other than tennis icon Roger Federer is strolling across the main square today and inspecting the various stands – the rain doesn’t seem to bother him. It remains to be seen whether he will still make any big purchases: the crowd that begins to gather around him is growing larger by the second.
