The semiconductor manufacturer AMS
has its capital increase to take over the competitor Osram
completed. The company said how
planned gross proceeds of around 1.65 billion euros, said
AMS on Tuesday with. After the subscription period was completed on Monday
however, the capital increase was only subscribed to 62 percent. Consequently
the accompanying investment banks sold 38 percent of the new ones
AMS shares are not.
The remaining shares are now said to be through
the investment banks offered through the market – in the form of a
public offer in Austria and Switzerland as well as via
Private placements in some other countries.
Due to a Covid 19 closure of the courts in
Austria on selected days of the week must register the
offered shares and thus the execution of the rights issue
postponed a day, the company said.
Therefore, the stock exchange listing and the first trading day will be the
new shares on the SIX Swiss Exchange on or around April 3, 2020
