It’s official. Joel Rocha is the new coach of the SC Braga futsal team. The 40-year-old coach returns to work after leaving Benfica at the end of last season, where he spent seven seasons.
«From now on, a new cycle begins and we will all start from the same starting point. I’m extremely happy and proud of the invitation and I couldn’t be more enthusiastic about the beginning of this journey», said Joel Rocha, who occupies the place left open at the Braga club with the departure of Bruno Guimarães.
Quoted by the club’s official website, the coach did not stop talking about goals, noting: “I was pleasantly surprised with what was presented to me and with all the conditions we have to develop a job that allows us to achieve the results we want.”
«Let’s do our best so that the SC Braga futsal team can honor and dignify a centenary club. I have no doubts: from today onwards, everyone, in Portugal and abroad, will look at SC Braga with different eyes», he stressed.
