Brazilian striker Sassá made known, through his press office, that he will contest the termination of the contract for just cause alleged by Marítimo.
Through a statement, the player guarantees that he received approval from Marítimo to be treated at Cruzeiro, in Brazil, but that, after completing the recovery process, the island club “did not respond and did not ensure the administrative procedures necessary for his return” .
“Sassa will call the competent authorities, both in Portugal and internationally, to safeguard all his rights”, he concludes.
