BOLA – FC Porto loses in the Champions League and complicates qualification (Handball)

FC Porto received and lost to Dinamo Bucharest, by a scarce goal, 31-32, in a match of the 12th round of the group stage of the Champions League, sending them to the eighth and last place of the ‘poule’ B , although without definitively compromising the qualification.

Instead of the match in Romania, won by the smallest margin (27-26), FC Porto had difficulty overcoming Dinamo Bucharest’s defensive axis, in which the goalkeeper stood out. They also counted on the performance of goalkeeper Nikola Mitrevski to balance the match in the first half and reach the break with a 12-goal draw. An unconfirmed starter in the second half, during which FC Porto showed some wear, also caused by the seven to six that Dinamo Bucharest resorted to.

Although more difficult, FC Porto’s qualification for the next stage is still a possibility, as they just have to win the next two games.
