“Terrorist cells” were controlled from abroad by a German citizen, the KGB of Belarus claims.
The State Security Committee of Belarus has detained all the persons involved in the so-called “terrorist cells”, the discovery of which was recently announced by Alexander Lukashenko. The detainees are now allegedly giving confessions, reported Belarusian state channel ONT on Monday, 12 July.
The KGB claims that these “terrorist cells” were run from abroad by a German citizen. Now the security forces are conducting investigative actions on several episodes.
“One of them is an attempt to set fire to logging equipment in one of the districts of the Minsk region. Procedural actions are also underway against the communications object of the Russian military unit near Vileika. They tried to blow it up. Another episode is an attempt on the life of TV journalist Grigory Azarenko,” the KGB said …
The TV channel promised to broadcast on the evening of July 13 “a complete investigation of terrible events with a taste of terrorism.”
Let us remind you that on July 2 Lukashenka said that in Belarus allegedly identified “sleeping terrorist cells”, to which Germany, Ukraine, USA, Poland and Lithuania are involved.
Lukashenka also claimed that following the results of counterintelligence work near Minsk there were a number of questions to the German leadership… According to him, claims will be brought against Chancellor Angela Merkel. But this has not been done until now.
