The Pakistani stock exchange building in Karachi, Pakistan, was attacked by armed perpetrators on Monday morning.
Four militant attackers seized the stock exchange with weapons and grenades, Pakistani newspaper Geo News writes.
The news agency Reuters reports at eight o’clock that the four attackers were killed by police. According to Geo News, two civilians must be killed.
“Four attackers have been killed,” Ghulam Nabi Memon, chief of police in Karachi told Reuters.
In addition, four people, including a security guard and a police officer, were injured in the attack.
– An unfortunate incident occurred on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The attackers took the road from our parking area and opened fire on everyone, says Abid Ali Habib director at the Geo News exchange.
It is not known if more perpetrators are on the loose, writes Reuters.
