According to Malofeev, the forum has expanded significantly over the six months of its work.
“People who do not agree with the unipolar world, especially American hegemony, are joining the movement en masse. We are planning at the end of January that there will be a big new event in Moscow that will bring together Russophiles from Latin America, Africa, Europe, the United States – we have a big request in the United States from people who do not agree with the Biden policy, who believe that America is to blame for this war, and these hostilities must be stopped, ”said Malofeev.
The first Congress of Russophiles was held in mid-March 2023. The forum was attended by 90 delegates from 42 countries. Among its participants were the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrovfamous actor, special representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Steven Seagal. The founding congress of the movement was welcomed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
