While the Lyon branch ofArkane Studios is working on Deathloop, a new game not yet announced would be in development at Arkane Studios Austin. In any case, this is what Harvey Smith, the creative director of the license, suggested. Dishonored, during an interview with the Spanish site Vandal.
“I don’t work on Deathloop. I’m on another project with the folks who designed Dishonored and Prey, ”he said. There is no more information regarding the project in question, but it could be a new one. Dishonored, a sequel to the remake of Prey, even a whole new production. Wait and see…
Harvey Smith also took the opportunity to talk about the acquisition of Bethesda Softworks by Microsoft. He explained that it had not really changed his daily life and that Bethesda and the Redmond firm went hand in hand.
I cannot say more on the subject since I myself do not know. But so far, I haven’t noticed any big changes at Arkane. If I had to imagine a single perfect partner for Bethesda, between all the publishers and all the people I know who work for them, I couldn’t think of better than Microsoft. Bethesda and Microsoft go perfectly together.
